Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Nancy Stanley Clark, M.D., J.D., a board‑certified vascular surgeon, will be joining the General Surgery team at Carolina Pines Medical Group (CPMG). Dr. Clark brings decades of clinical, academic, and physician‑leadership experience in vascular surgery, expanding access to advanced vascular care for patients in Hartsville and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Clark is board certified in Vascular Surgery and has practiced medicine for more than 25 years. She has served in numerous hospital leadership roles throughout her career, including Chief of Vascular Surgery, Chief of Surgery, Medical Director, and Medical Staff President, and has extensive experience in both open and endovascular surgical techniques.

Dr. Clark earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed her residency at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, followed by a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, offering a distinctive background in healthcare leadership, policy, and compliance.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Clark has been actively involved in medical education and research. She has authored numerous peer‑reviewed publications, contributed book chapters in vascular surgery, and previously served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
