Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center announces Infection Control/Employee Health Nurse

HARTSVILLE, SC (March 19, 2012) — Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center (CPRMC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Tanya Baker, RN to Infection Control/Employee Health Director. Tanya received her Nursing Degree from USC Lancaster in 1996. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing and an Associate Degree in Science.  She brings 16 years of nursing experience, which began at Byerly Hospital on the Medical Unit. She then transitioned to the Patient First Assessment Area as a Charge Nurse, while also assisting as House Supervisor.

“I am very excited to continue to work with Tanya as she continues to lead our Infection Control/Employee Health Department forward,” said Naomi Holley, Chief Nursing Officer for CPRMC.  “She is dedicated to quality health care at all levels.”

She assumed her new role effective March 1, 2012, as Anna Morrison retired to part-time status.

Tanya enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her spare time.  She has three (3) children, ages 26, 18 and six years of age. Her hobbies include reading and shopping.  She is a member of the Word of Life Fellowship Church in Cheraw, SC.
