HARTSVILLE, SC (February 14, 2012) — Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center (CPRMC) is proud to announce the association of its new Chief Financial Officer, Physician Practice Management Administrator, Director of Corporate Health and Wellness and Director of Marketing & Public Relations.
Tim Browne, Chief Executive Officer for CPRMC, said, “I am so pleased to have these leaders join our team. They bring a wealth of talents and energy to our team and will assist us greatly as we move forward with serving this community’s health care needs.”
Anthony J. Seminaro has been named Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining CPRMC, Seminaro served as Controller for Venice Regional Medical Center in Venice, FL where he was responsible for the financial and operational management of a 312 bed hospital and a 50 physician clinic group. Before being promoted to Controller, Seminaro served as the hospital’s Assistant Controller. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI.
Hartsville native W. Mark Jones (CMPE) has joined Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center (CPRMC) as Physician Practice Management Administrator for The Medical Group, a multi-specialty practice associated with the hospital. Prior to joining CPRMC, Jones served as Administrator for Stokes Regional Eye Center in Florence, Practice Manager for Eastern Carolina Pediatric Associates and as Admissions Director for Bruce Hospital System.
A graduate of Francis Marion University, Jones earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Marketing). Among his affiliations and activities include the Medical Group Managers Association (MGMA), the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) – Certified Medical Practice Executive, the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators, the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives and is a Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce Leadership Florence graduate.
Michael Batson Northcutt, also a native of Hartsville, has been named Director of Corporate Health and Wellness. Northcutt comes to Carolina Pines from American Home Patient based in Columbia, SC, where she served as an Account Representative. Prior to that, she served as Sales and Market Manager for Pee Dee Respiratory/Reliable Medical Equipment in Florence. Northcutt received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and was a member of Kappa Sigma Gamma (honors society).
Harriet Herlong Parker has been named Director of Marketing & Public Relations. A native of Johnston, SC, Parker was associated with Carolinas Hospital System for 22 years and served as Director of Marketing & Public Relations since l996. Before joining Carolinas, she served as Special Events Coordinator at WBTW TV-13 and worked for Senator Strom Thurmond in the Washington, DC office for six years including as Executive Assistant to the President Pro Tempore of the United States Senate.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina School of Journalism in the Advertising/Public Relations Sequence. She was named a recipient of the Girl Scout Council of the Pee Dee Area Mary Dean Brewer Women of Achievement Award and presented a Lifestyle Change Award from the local chapter of the American Heart Association.
