Before You Arrive

Pre-Certification

Most insurance plans require pre-certification for non-emergency visits to the hospital.  It is the responsibility of the patient to obtain pre-certification from their insurance provider.

MED-KEY

Since there are a number of questions to be answered and information to be obtained, prior to your admission, we suggest that you obtain a MED-KEY Card.  This quick admission card provides our staff with the information needed to admit you promptly for any type of service.  Our MED-KEY does not replace any insurance cards, so please bring your insurance card(s) with you.  MED-KEY applications are available by calling 843-339-4197.  Or you may click on "Med-Key Program" in the list to the left and complete your applicaton on-line.
