Job Description
RN:
Provides direct care to patients on an assigned unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Function and performs all technical aspects of nursing care within the framework of established policies and procedures of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. Responsible for managing care of assigned patients and guiding and directing the activities of ancillary staff. May function as charge nurse. Functions on the nursing units as assistant to the physician. Provides patient care services to the young, adult, and geriatric patients
LPN:
Provides care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintains standards of nursing care in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Hospital and the Department of Nursing Provides care to the neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient.
Requirements
RN:
Graduate of an accreted school of nursing with a current South Carolina license and CPR Training. Minimum: Associates Degree for Diploma Required
No experience required. Six to twelve telemetry experience preferred. New nurse orientation is provided by the staff education department and preceptor ship training. Additional orientation for mew nurses is provided on the nursing unit utilizing the orientation plan.

LPN:
Post High School vocational/specialized training with a current South Carolina license. No experience required. One to two years experience preferred. New nurse orientation is provided by the staff education department and preceptor. Additional orientation for new nurses is provided on the nursing unit utilizing the structured new nurse orientation manual.
